Our Ministry

Christians are "outward-facing" people because the Good News they have graciously received, they are eager to give. First Presbyterian Church of Biloxi has a rich heritage of reaching out to our friends, neighbors, colleagues, and relatives with the gospel and showing them the love of Christ in practical ways. In addition to reaching our own community and our Gulf Coast neighbors, we also long to see new churches planted throughout the United States, North America, and across the globe.




Our Vision

The vision of the First Presbyterian Church of Biloxi is to be a Christ-centered fellowship of believers committed to God and one another. It seeks to be a growing, serving and nurturing church communicating by word and deed the grace of God, glorifying God the Father, proclaiming Jesus Christ the Son and demonstrating the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

To worship, serve, and know Jesus Christ and expand His Kingdom throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the World.


Our Mission (How We Plan to Accomplish Our Purpose)

Our mission is to share and apply the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ’s Kingdom to ourselves and to our Mississippi Gulf Coast neighbors, communities, culture, and to the world.


Core Values (What we value as a Community)

  • The Gospel of the Kingdom changes lives. When understood, believed and lived in a thoroughly biblical manner it will change any person or place.
  • The Gospel of the Kngdom creates true communion. What every person needs is communion with God and with other people.
  • The goal of the Gospel of the Kingdom is to produce worshippers. God seeks people who corporately worship him and who see all of life as worship.
  • The Gospel of the Kingdom must be embodied in a place. The Gulf Coast is where we have been called to preach and live out the gospel with other believers and friends.
  • The Gospel of the Kingdom has an outward face. We seek to start a movement of church planting on the Gulf Coast.
